The BMC name has been around since the merger of the Austin Motor Company and Nuffield Organisation in 1952. Through various mergers, nationalisation in 1975 and subsequent divisions, the company can be traced through to Rover going into administration in 2005. As far as the marine industry is concerned, the golden period of BMC was during the production of the 1.5 litre and 1.8 litre B series engines between 1953 and 1978. Both these engines have proved popular and enduring, and have been marinised by various companies over the last 50+ years. We also provide support for the 2.2 litre and 2.52 litre BMC engines which have proved popular in larger vessels. Through our close ties with many of the industries best known manufacturers, we stock a wide range of spares and marinisation parts including heat exchangers, filters, pistons, glow plugs and gaskets. While the advanced age of the BMC engines make some parts hard to find, you can be sure that the ASAP Supplies team work hard to source every available spare to help you keep your engine going for years to come. Please note that while BMC (Turkey) was set up in partnership with BMC, some of the Turkish designs and spares differ from the British versions, so when contacting us, please make sure you have your engine number so we can ensure we provide the right part first time.
