The Sherwood 25115 mechanical pump shaft seal kit is the latest silicon carbide seal for the Sherwood P1700 series Sherwood pumps (P1700 C) and should be used with pump shaft SW 25120. this is a pressed on seal, and a fitting tool is provided as part of the seal kit.

The early P1700 Sherwood pumps used mechanical seal SW 15955.
Please note: You must fit the correct seal. Incorrect shaft seals will NOT fit correctly and may cause leaks & shaft damage. Sherwood major repair kit SW 25122 contains all the parts you will need to upgrade you P1700 series Sherwood pump to the latest Sherwood P1700 C specification.
