Supporting your steering cable at regular intervals from helm to rudder/outboard is important to avoid bending or sagging of the cable. Keeping the cable straight and supported means that the cable will flow smoothly and give responsive steering. This kit allows the steering cable to pass through the boat's splashwell and on to the outboard.
